We are looking for a dedicated Room Attendant to join our team and help maintain the high standards that our guests expect and love.

Role Overview

The Room Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and ambience of guest rooms and public areas within our hotel. This position is essential to ensuring our guests enjoy a welcoming, spotless, and comfortable environment during their stay. As part of our team, you will contribute to the overall success of Polurrian Hotel by upholding the standards of luxury and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy guest rooms according to company standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
  • Ensure bathrooms are hygienic and fully stocked with toiletries and towels.
  • Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure quality and attention to detail.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damage to the management promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as corridors and lounges as required.
  • Follow health and safety procedures to guarantee a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Respond courteously and promptly to guest requests and enquiries.
  • Work collaboratively with other housekeeping and hotel team members to deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or room attendant roles within the catering & hospitality industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and reliable, with a positive attitude towards shift work including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Physical stamina to undertake cleaning duties and move equipment or supplies as required.
