Room Attendant

Room Attendant Location: Mullion, Cornwall, United Kingdom Position: Part-time, Permanent Salary: £8.00 to £12.71 per hour

Join our Luxury Hotel Management team nestled in the idyllic coastal village of Mullion, Cornwall. Here, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding service and attention to detail. As a Room Attendant, you’ll play a critical role in upholding our high standards of cleanliness and comfort, ensuring our valued guests return time and time again.


Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable, motivated Room Attendant to maintain the immaculate condition of our guest rooms and public areas. Your commitment to quality, efficiency, and professionalism will directly impact guest satisfaction and the seamless operations of our luxury hotel.


Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and refresh guest rooms to strict hotel standards, including:
    • Making beds
    • Dusting, vacuuming, and tidying surfaces
    • Stocking amenities
  • Ensure spotless bathrooms are fully supplied with toiletries and essentials
  • Promptly report maintenance issues or damages to management
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in shared spaces: corridors, lounges, staircases
  • Handle guest requests courteously and professionally to enhance their stay
  • Adhere to health & safety regulations and hygiene protocols
  • Collaborate effectively with housekeeping/hospitality teams for streamlined operations

Qualifications & Skills

Preferred but not essential:

  • Prior experience in housekeeping, room attendant roles, or hospitality sectors

Essential:

  • Strong attention to detail and eye for cleanliness/presentation
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable demeanour
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments efficiently
  • Basic English proficiency to follow instructions and engage with guests
  • Demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
  • Flexibility to cover shifts, including weekends and public holidays as needed
