About the Role
As part of the Housekeeping team, your role will involve ensuring all guest bedrooms are cleaned to the highest standards daily.
you will have an excellent eye for detail and maintain the highest standards to meet guest expectations and deliver a perfect night’s stay.

Working as a Room Attendant requires:
- Clear conversational English (for guest interaction)
- The ability to work independently for extended periods
- A strong work ethic to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and ready for guest check-in and ongoing stays.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintaining and upholding high cleaning standards in all guest rooms
- Performing daily grooming duties (bed makings, linen changes, bathroom cleaning) with meticulous attention to detail
- Working efficiently and autonomously to complete room cleaning schedules within designated timeframes
- Adhering to hotel safety, hygiene, and sustainability protocols
- Communicating effectively with guests (when necessary)
- Supporting the broader Housekeeping team across multiple departments

Key Requirements
- No prior experience in a similar role is required
- Physical fitness to execute tasks that require lifting, bending, and moving frequently
- Positive attitude, dedication to excellence, and passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Basic numerical skills for task allocation
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate booked shifts (usually 5 days a week)
Hours & Flexibility
- Primarily set shifts, with core scheduling between 9:00am – 3:00pm (can vary within this range).
- Shift start times are flexible between 9:00am and 10:00am(can discuss earlier starts or part-time contracts at interview).
- Weekend work is also available on demand.
Training & Progression
- Full on-the-job training, including cleaning chemical usage and equipment safety
- Opportunity to enroll in Hotel du Vin’s apprenticeship scheme after completing the probation period
