Room Attendant – Soho House

About the Role

At Soho House, as a Room Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and comfort of guest rooms and suites. With an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, you will ensure each space meets the club’s high standards, contributing to an exceptional member and guest experience.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and understands the importance of discretion in a luxury environment.

Key Duties

  • Clean and service guest rooms, suites, and common areas according to club standards
  • Replace linens, towels, and amenities as needed, ensuring consistency and presentation
  • Check rooms for maintenance issues and report faults or damages promptly
  • Ensure guest belongings are respected and handled with care and confidentiality
  • Maintain cleaning carts, equipment, and storage areas in a tidy and well-stocked condition
  • Support laundry services, including sorting, folding, and transporting items when required
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including use of chemicals and PPE
  • Communicate guest requests, room status changes, or incidents to the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Assist with turndown service or special requests when required
  • Ensure hallways, stairwells, and service areas remain clean and clutter-free

What We Are Looking For

A successful Room Attendant at Soho House will ideally have:

  • Up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue
  • A natural flair for first-class service
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or room attendant roles (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and high personal standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • A professional appearance and respectful, positive attitude
  • Basic spoken English and ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Pay Range (UK)

£15,000—£17,000 GBP (rate based on market differences in other geographies)
