Nursery – Room Leader – Bright Horizons Andover Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary: Starting from £28,392 per annum (dependent on qualification and experience)

Location: Andover

We are seeking a Level 3 Room Leader to join the Bright Horizons Andover Day Nursery and Preschool.

The Role

As a Room Leader, you’ll: ✔ Lead, mentor, support, and inspire your team to deliver outstanding care and education ✔ Ensure child welfare, health, safety, and safeguarding standards are met ✔ Foster strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and professionals ✔ Help individual children reach their milestones through inclusive, engaging learning experiences


What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar
  • A genuine passion for creating fun, inclusive learning environments
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Solid knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
  • Ability to build trust and develop strong working relationships with teams and parents/carers
  • Proficiency in using varied communication techniques with children and adults
