Nursery Room Leader – Balham/Leatherhead/Weybridge/East Finchley
Salary & Contract
- Salary: Up to £32,500 per year (depending on qualifications & experience)
- Contract: Full-time, permanent

Balham, London • East Finchley • Weybridge • Leatherhead

Your Responsibilities
As a Room Leader, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that meet children’s developmental needs
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in line with EYFS standards
- Monitor, record, and celebrate children’s developmental milestones
- Build strong parent communication to foster trusting relationships
- Lead & support colleagues in maintaining high-quality care & learning
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies

About You
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Have a valid Full & relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) – essential
- Demonstrate previous Early Years experience (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, or Early Years Educator)
- Show strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood education
- Be dedicated to delivering the highest standards of care for children
