Nursery – Room Leader (Baby Room) | Bright Horizons Swanscombe

Salary: £31,241 – £37,128 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience) Location: Swanscombe

We’re seeking a Room Leader to join Bright Horizons Swanscombe Day Nursery’s Baby Room. Our nursery offers:

The Role

As Room Leader, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, support, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
  • Enable every child in the room to develop and achieve their individual milestones
  • Ensure child welfare, health, safety, and safeguarding
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and professionals
  • Adapt to each child’s unique needs

What We’re Looking For

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Early Years qualifications (Level 3 or above)
  • Prior experience in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Practitioner, or similar
  • Passion for creating fun, inclusive, and engaging learning environments
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and wider legislative requirements
  • Ability to foster trust and strong relationships with both colleagues and parents/carers
  • Proficiency in using communication techniques for all ages (children and adults)
