Job Details
Salary
Starting from £31,500 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience).
Hours
Full-time, 40 hours, Monday–Friday

About the Role
We’re looking for a Room Leader to join our Bishops Stortford Nursery (CM23 2AF). The role will be based either in the toddler room or the preschool room.

As the Room Leader, you will:
- Lead, mentor, support, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education.
- Help children in your room develop and meet their individual milestones.
- Promote child welfare, health, safety, and safeguarding.
- Build strong partnerships with:
- Colleagues
- Parents/carers
- Other professionals
- Meet each child’s needs effectively.
What We’re Looking For
- A Full and relevant Early Years qualification, Level 3 or above.
- Previous experience in an Early Years setting – ideally as:
- A Room Leader
- A Nursery Nurse
- A Nursery Practitioner
- An Early Years Educator or similar.
- A passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Deep knowledge and understanding of:
- Safeguarding
- Child Protection
- Legislative requirements for working with children.
- Ability to:
- Build trust and strong working relationships with:
- Colleagues
- Parents/carers
- Use varied communication techniques with:
- Children
- Adults
- Build trust and strong working relationships with:
