Room Leader (Toddlers Room) – Chiswick House Day Nursery

About the Role

Join the friendly team at Chiswick House Day Nursery, part of Grandir UK, and take on a critical role as a Room Leader (Toddlers Room). You’ll be responsible for caring for, supporting, and inspiring our young learners while helping them thrive every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote high standards of quality in nursery care & education
  • Supervise and support room staff in day-to-day duties
  • Allocate staff/children effectively while ensuring EYFS compliance
  • Implement keycarer procedures
  • Provide parent/carer communication and feedback
  • Represent the nursery to current families & new potential customers
  • Build positive staff & parent relationships

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS check required (due to safeguarding duties)
  • Experience in working with toddlers highly desirable
  • Commitment to HighScope, Reggio Emilia & outdoor play approaches
  • Willingness to demonstrate care, enthusiasm, and teamwork
