Job Introduction
Do you have experience of coordinating and maintaining rotas ensuring adequate workforce coverage? We are looking for rota administrator’s who will be responsible for inputting and updating shift schedules, managing leave requests and assist with last-minute cancellations or changes to ensure smooth operations. You will work closely with the rota co-ordinator to support efficient workforce planning. We are currently recruiting for a part time fixed term contract and our bank team.

£21,681.00 per annum or £13.86 for our bank employees

Shifts
Part time, 12 month fixed term contract – 30 hours, within operational hours of Monday to Friday between 7am – 7pm with 1 Saturday 8-12 in 4. Bank, where you can choose your shifts around your availability.
What will I be doing?
- Responsible for the delivery of clinical and operational rosters for all Primary Care 24 services.
- Manage the rota to ensure all shifts covered, manage any short notice cancellations.
- Ensure agency & locum usage is kept to a minimum within budget.
- Liaise with agencies & locums when required to ensure shifts are covered.
- Prepare and maintain reports and assist with administrative tasks.
- Communicate and action shift changes, updates and urgent rota adjustments to employees in a timely manner.
- Complete daily compliance checks as required.
- Ensure rosters are released and available a minimum of 6 months in advance.
- Support data collection to support service reporting.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with clinicians and representatives.

What do I need?
- Competent keyboard skills and use of Microsoft office and electronic roster systems such as Rotamaster is desirable
- Experience of working to policies and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to use initiative and solve problems.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload.
