About the Role
Sunrise Nanny Agency is working with a returning client seeking a long-term rota nanny to care for a delightful 5-year-old family based in Virginia Water, GU25.
Responsibilities
- Provide sole charge care to a child aged 5, ensuring a nurturing, positive, and stimulating environment they can thrive in.
- Oversee all aspects of the child’s care, development, and educational support.
- Support with homework, reading, spelling, and school projects, encouraging learning and intellectual growth.
- Enable personalised engagement through educational and creative activities aligned with child development principles.
- Maintain high standards of organisation, hygiene, and tidiness in all environments and routines.
- Be an active participant in the child’s physical and well-being by encouraging sports and outdoor play.
- Operate a 24/7 on-call schedule during hired weeks (Mondays through Fridays, with weekends off).
- Collaborate effectively and supportively with mum and the team of nannies.

Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of professional childcare experience.
- Proven expertise in Early Years and primary-aged care, with an emphasis on educational support.
- Must hold relevant professional childcare qualifications, such as:
- NNEB
- Early Years degree
- Checkable references and record of previous childcare roles.
Personal traits & Skills
- Passionate with a genuine love for the role and the desire to make a positive, lasting impact on family life.
- Confident, engaging, and patient with children of various personality types.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attended to both administrative tasks and dynamic care situations.
- Skilled in driving (car driver) and confident with tasks such as swimming supervision when required.
- Understanding of effective home-learning and educational alignment with school requirements.
- Enjoying active and outdoor pursuits, able to keep an energetic child engaged and active.

Conditions & Perks
- Regular status: Permanent position
- Schedule: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off (24/7 availability from Monday to Friday)
- Location: Living on-site during duty period, with time off and potentially a lesser role outside duty weeks.
- Salary & Rate: Negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and the role’s responsibilities.
- Family Background: Trusted working relationship with the family, previously handled professionally through Sunrise Nanny Agency.
Preferred Start Date
Ideally July/August 2026 – family will consider talk regarding notice periods if required.
