This can be a Band 5 to Band 6 progressive role.
This is not a bridging programme only NQMW trained in the UK are eligible to apply.
All midwives applying with an NMC pin need to have worked in the UK as a midwife.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for newly qualified and experienced midwives to join our impatient and community services. We offer a comprehensive preceptorship package and excellent support for new starters.
We have a part-time position available in our friendly and supportive teams across the county with roles available in inpatient areas and community to include supporting women choosing homebirths on an on-call basis.

We offer opportunities to work alongside specialist services including our internationally acclaimed spinal unit. Our maternity services provide care for approximately 4,800 women and their families. We offer a variety of birth choices for our diverse population and have a dedicated suite for women experiencing bereavement. We have a level 2 neonatal service and close links with the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Band 5/6 midwives will be offered a hybrid working opportunity to rotate between inpatient and community services. Experienced Band 6 midwives also have the opportunity to choose community working or inpatient care.
Midwives will be responsible for antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care provision, across all areas of our maternity services.
