Band 5 Rotational Dietitian
Are you a newly qualified, or soon to be HCPC registered Dietitian, looking to begin your career in a supportive and forward-thinking team? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are recruiting a Band 5 Rotational Dietitian to join our friendly and welcoming inpatient Dietetic team.
This role forms part of the Bristol Group Adult Nutrition and Dietetic Service, one of the largest dietetic services in the region, comprising more than 100 Dietitians and Dietetic Support Workers. Our Weston team consists of 16 dedicated and experienced staff who are committed to supporting your professional development.

As a Band 5 Rotational Dietitian, you will develop your clinical skills by working across a variety of medical and surgical wards.
- You will also have opportunities to contribute to food policy initiatives, promote nutritional screening using the MUST tool, and deliver education and training to multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Opportunities to deliver outpatient clinics are available depending on your rotation.
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based nutritional assessment, diagnosis and intervention for adults with a wide range of clinical conditions, contributing to high-quality, patient-centred care.
Learning and Teaching
As a department committed to developing the future workforce, we regularly provide placements for A, B and C placement learners from the University of Plymouth. Once you have completed the appropriate training and are established within your role, you will have the opportunity to supervise, teach and assess dietetic learners during their clinical placements.
The department also provides a bank holiday service, with each member of the team contributing to one bank holiday day each year.
