About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate registered Occupational Therapy candidates who are keen to consolidate and continue to develop their core Occupational Therapy skills and practise.

Role Details

The Band 5 Occupational Therapy Rotation is Trust Wide and offers candidates the opportunity to work within physical, mental health, forensic, and learning disability services across the Merseycare footprint, enabling opportunities within community and in-patient provision.

As a valued member of the Occupational Therapy workforce, training, CPD, supervision, and preceptorship opportunities are available as standard to support you on your Occupational Therapy career journey in order to develop holistic skills sets.

The successful post holders will join a varied and well-established Band 5 Occupational Therapy 6 monthly rotational programme.

Responsibilities

  • Using evidence-based/patient-centred principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions of the service user group.
  • Taking a holistic approach in the assessment and treatment of service users/patients, being responsible for the provision of appropriate, high-quality Occupational Therapy to a defined caseload.
  • Working in partnership with other professionals and as an integral member of the Occupational Therapy teams and wider MDT, supporting service users and their families and carers side by side.
