Are you looking for a rewarding career in hospital pharmacy as a progressive Band 6 to Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist?
We are looking for Band 6 Rotational Pharmacists to join the team and help shape the pharmacy service whilst developing into Band 7 Clinical Pharmacists. Developmental support is available from the established Pharmacy Clinical and Education Teams.
All training, education and diploma fees are fully covered by the trust.

- is forward thinking, constantly looking for ways to improve the service and introduce new ways of working
- is friendly, welcoming and supportive linking in with fellow healthcare professionals in the trust, primary care and integrated care system
This role requires GPhC Registration.

Cross site at Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Poole Hospital

Rotations will be supported by a training package alongside support from specialist pharmacists and accredited pharmacy technicians. You will complete the Newly Qualified Pharmacist training programme, undertake the Clinical Pharmacy Diploma and have the opportunity to progress with the Independent Prescribing qualification as a newly qualified pharmacist prescriber or to undertake the Independent Prescribing Qualification training.
The post holder will be required to have GPhC registration, be ready to promote change, have a team focus on quality improvement, show initiative for development of their own and the team’s clinical pharmacy skills to deliver a high quality and patient focused pharmacy service.
UHD are investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. As part of this, some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service-specific questions at interview.
