Job Overview
An exciting opportunity arises to work as a Band 6 Physiotherapist within Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) Central Integrated Health Centre (IHC).

- Core rotations in both acute and community hospital settings:
- Musculoskeletal (MSK)
- Adult Medicine (including Critical and Tertiary Care – COTE)
- Neurology
- Community Physiotherapy
- Trauma & Orthopaedics (T&O)
- Respiratory Physiotherapy
- Oncology
- Opportunity to work in community hospitals in Conwy and Denbighshire
- Potential to advance to Band 8A as a Clinical Advanced Practitioner via a structured career pathway
- Strong emphasis on service development, with regular access to supervision, mentoring, and training
- Based in a large, supportive, and innovative team

Additionally, although not mandatory, speaking Welsh is desirable. The role is open to both Welsh- and English-speaking applicants.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments, treatments, and individualised programmes for specialised patient caseloads (e.g., physical and psychological disorders), with varying levels of complexity. Support includes guidance from team leaders, clinical specialists, or advanced practitioners.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high standards of care.
- Communicate sensitively with patients, carers, agencies, and medical professionals regarding diagnoses or care plans.
- Supervise and mentor other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, assistants, technical instructors, students, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Train patients, carers, and staff to deliver care programmes set by physiotherapists.
- Deputise the Clinical Team Leader as needed in team management.
