Rotational Rehabilitation Physiotherapist
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for Physiotherapists with proven clinical and interpersonal skills to join our growing Band 6 rotational scheme at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for clinicians interested in developing their rehabilitation skills as we have vacancies in the rehabilitation rotational circuits.
You will gain experience of treating a wide variety of clinical conditions both in the Acute (Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals) and Community settings in Lambeth and Southwark. You will have the opportunity to develop both your clinical and non-clinical skills including appraisal and supervision of junior staff and students, participation in projects contributing to service development and delivery of training programmes and teaching both within the trust and our partner organisations.
Each rotation is of 6 months duration and each post is supported by a number of experienced senior staff and clinical specialists. Staff need to be prepared to participate in any of the rotations within the rehabilitation rotational scheme. You will be expected to embrace the departments equity, inclusion and diversity working ethos.
These posts would suit a Band 5 physiotherapist wishing to gain specific experience at a more senior level or an established Band 6 wishing to consolidate and develop their knowledge and skills.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
