About the Role
There is an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Band 6 Neuro Rotation. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and hardworking to join our friendly teams and would welcome interest from full and part-time applicants.
Rotation Locations
The yearly rotations are based across Royal Derby Hospital and Florence Nightingale Community Hospital. The rotations include:
- Kings Lodge Neuro Rehab Unit
- Stroke Unit
- Neuro Outpatient Service
- Neuro In-Reach Team
- Acute Neurology
Responsibilities
You will require experience and skills in the assessment and treatment of patients with neurological conditions. You will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of Occupational Therapy within these teams, as well as having opportunities to support operational management and leadership of the services you are working within.
Requirements
- Experience as an occupational therapist within neurological rehabilitation
- Good communication skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing excellent patient-centred care
- Multidisciplinary working is essential
