About the Role
We are looking for an HPCP registered, enthusiastic, dedicated, and highly skilled Senior Band 7 Radiographer to join the team at Charing Cross Hospital.
Requirements
Candidates should be skilled in CT (Computed Tomography) contrast studies and ideally MRI (Magnetic resonance imaging) or IR (Interventional Radiology) and have recent extensive Band 6 experience.
As a Band 7 radiographer, you will rotate across all modalities and be responsible for supporting your managers in ensuring that service users' needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high standard of clinical work when carrying out radiographic procedures.
- Deputising in the modalities that you are working in and providing an expert level of knowledge in a fast-paced imaging department.
- Duties in CT will vary from vetting of outpatient requests and managing CT admin tasks, such as organizing interventional procedures to ensuring the efficient service of the inpatient and outpatient scanners.
- Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework.
- Motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity, and drive continuous improvement.
