Role: Transport Planner / Route Planner / Operations Assistant
Sector: Building Materials / Construction Supplies
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 + Benefits
We are recruiting an OPERATIONS ASSISTANT / TRANSPORT ROUTE PLANNER within a well-respected distributor of construction / building related products.
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated person who must have some experience in operations, route planning or general logistics. Knowledge of the type of products the company sells is not important initially. Whilst some transport / logistics experience is required, full training will be given on this company’s various systems and procedures.

So you need to be organised, be able to communicate efficiently with colleagues and have a strong attention to detail. You will be assisting the Operations Manager with the daily duties and helping make sure that good Health & Safety and compliance is maintained.
Therefore this is a varied role and you will be working with a great, established team.
