UiPath RPA Developer – London (Hybrid) – 6-12 month contract
Role: UiPath RPA Developer (Contract)
Location: London (Hybrid Working)
Contract: Initial 6 months (extensions likely)
Rate: £300 - £600 p/day depending on experience
Robert Half are working with a leading client and are recruiting a number of experienced UiPath RPA Developers and/or Architects to join a high-profile digital transformation programme based in London.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale automation initiatives delivering robust and scalable robotic process automation (RPA) solutions across the organisation.
You will need to hold SC level security clearance or be able and willing to undergo the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement automation solutions using the UiPath platform.
- Build reusable, scalable and maintainable RPA workflows.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects and technical teams to understand business requirements.
- Perform unit testing, system testing and support UAT activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring optimal bot performance.
- Produce clear technical documentation and adhere to development standards.
- Support deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement of automation solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience developing solutions with UiPath.
- Excellent understanding of RPA development best practices and software development lifecycle.
- Experience with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator and REFramework.
- Knowledge of API integrations and web services.
- Experience working with SQL databases.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Desirable
- UiPath Advanced Developer Certification.
- Experience delivering RPA solutions within the public sector or large enterprise organisations.
- Knowledge of Power Platform, .NET or C#.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git or other version control tools.
