The Role
RTA Litigation Paralegal – Manchester – Hybrid – Up to £34,000
A leading National firm is seeking an RTA Litigation Paralegal to join its award-winning Manchester Motor team. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied caseload of litigated Motor matters within a market-leading department acting for major insurers, TPAs, self-insured organisations and commercial clients.
As an RTA Litigation Paralegal in the Manchester team, you’ll manage a mixed Fast Track and Small Claims caseload, gain exposure to complex liability disputes, and work within a collaborative, well-established team known for its technical expertise and supportive culture.
Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of litigated RTA Fast Track and Small Claims matters
- Handling personal injury, credit hire and complex liability disputes
- Conducting detailed investigations into liability, quantum and evidence
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence and settlement documentation
- Working with the MOJ and OIC portals
- Liaising directly with clients, opponents and third parties
- Preparing files for hearings and progressing cases efficiently
- Supporting senior fee earners on more complex matters

The Candidate
- Experience managing a litigated RTA Fast Track and Small Claims caseload
- Solid working knowledge of the MOJ and OIC portals
- Experience handling Credit Hire claims
- Good understanding of court procedures and the CPR
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and strong legal insight
- Confident communicator with excellent client care skills
- Comfortable using case management systems and general IT
