Runner – Soho House
The Role
At Soho House, a Runner plays a vital supporting role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of service between the kitchen and front-of-house teams, delivering a seamless dining experience.
Your main responsibility is to:
- Assist the waiting staff and ensure members enjoy a superior experience.
- Deliver orders from the kitchen (or drinks from the bar) to members’ tables.
- Act as a point of contact between the kitchen/bar and the service areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Speedy delivery of food/drink from the kitchen/bar to tables.
- Plan_EN_House] Maintain a spotless, organised environment.
- Service assigned sections and provide personalised member experiences.
- Polish cutlery and prepare table additions (e.g., lemon wraps, condiments).
- Conduct opening/closing procedures, including station setup/breakdown.
- Handle and store service equipment safely.
- Attend daily tastings and menu updates with front/back-of-house teams.

Requirements & Qualifications
- 2–3 years in a high-end dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of food & beverage (including wine service).
- Exceptional interpersonal & teamwork skills with a hands-on approach.
- Polished, confident professional demeanour.
- Outstanding communication and organisational abilities.
- Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software.
*### Pay Range (UK) £14.50 per hour. Geographic variations may apply.
