Rural Surveyor Associate - Land and Estate Management
Location: Hampshire
Contract Type: Permanent
Our client is a growth-minded rural consultancy practice looking for a Rural Surveyor Associate to join their team and develop a strong client base across the south. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your rural surveying career within a supportive environment that invests in professional development.
Position Overview
You'll deliver comprehensive rural consultancy services including land and estate management, farm management, and valuation advice to landowners, farmers, and developers. You'll build your own client base whilst collaborating with the wider rural team, and support graduates through their professional development.

Responsibilities
- Deliver rent reviews, tenancy agreements, and estate management services
- Provide farm management support including grant scheme administration
- Advise on planning matters, valuations, and development appraisals
- Manage sales and purchases of farms and rural land
- Build and nurture your own client base
- Support team members progressing through their APC
- Collaborate across departments on rural professional services
Requirements
Qualifications and experience:
- Degree (2:1 or above) from RICS accredited rural surveying programme
- Full RICS membership with Registered Valuer status
- Fellowship of the CAAV
- 1 - 3 years post-qualification experience in rural land and property
Essential skills and knowledge:
- Broad experience in property valuation, sales, and project management
- Proficiency with Office 365, Land App, Alto, and STAR software
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving approach with attention to detail
- Client-focused mindset with networking confidence
- Proactive, research-oriented, and professionally minded
