Rust / C++ Software Developer – Elite Trading Firm, London : £80-180k

We are partnering with a world-class trading firm at the forefront of technology and financial innovation

They are seeking Rust Developers to join their highly skilled engineering team in London. This is a chance to work in an elite environment where cutting-edge tech meets global trading excellence.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain and enhance peripheral applications and user interfaces using the latest Rust and C++ technologies, supporting trading operations.
  • Collaborate in an international, agile team of like-minded professionals.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to explore emerging technologies and best practices, designing and integrating improvements to expand system capabilities.
  • Take ownership of production support and ensure system reliability.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, shaping the future of the team.

What we’re looking for:

  • Software development experience, with strong exposure to Linux environments
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
  • Proven expertise in writing clean, efficient Rust code. C++ an added bonus
  • A genuine passion for financial markets and blockchain technologies.
  • Experience building reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a drive to deliver elegant solutions.
  • Bonus: knowledge of multithreading, web protocols (WebSocket, RESTful), or high throughput/low latency systems.
  • Experience mentoring and developing engineers.
