Rust Engineer | Remote (Must be based in UK)
£85,000 – £100,000
We're solving a problem most businesses have just accepted as normal. Spreadsheets are still how the vast majority of organisations model their finances, plan operations, and make decisions, they're fundamentally broken for anything complex. They don't scale, they break silently, and they're nearly impossible to maintain.
We're building a low-code engine that's powerful enough for real-world complexity but intuitive enough for non-developers to use. The company was founded by a serial entrepreneur with a strong track record in enterprise planning, so there's serious pedigree and conviction behind the vision.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'd be building the core engine in Rust, a system that runs on both client and server, handles user-defined data structures, and needs to be low-latency and high-performance. We're working with multi-user distributed systems, and experience with CRDTs or similar consistency approaches is a real plus.
Stack: Rust, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, with observability tooling and AI model integration.
