Luna The Dental Vets are changing the way veterinary dental care is provided to pets in the UK. Launching in Bristol in June 2025, Luna was the brainchild of vet Joe Inglis. After decades in the industry he joined with co-founder Louise Cooke, on a mission to reset dental health in our pets. Through just offering dentistry we can keep costs affordable and fixed for owners, while using the best kit and offering truly sustainable roles for clinical colleagues. Luna opened a second practice in Wokingham in February 2026. This practice now has 2 dental suites and from summer 2026 will start offering not only preventative care and surgical extractions, but also advanced dental care. All at fixed and affordable prices. In late Summer 2026 we will open a third location in South West London & we're looking for brilliant, dental passionate RVNs to form the founding team and shape this brand new clinic! Tasks You'll be a founding colleague of a brand new practice, supported virtually by our amazing colleagues at Bristol & Wokingham & our clinical board. As an RVN at Luna your role will be varied daily, including:
- Half a day supporting clinical dental procecedures (up to 4 daily per table), Confident in GA management with tech to support,
- Admissions, blood tests, discharges and wider clinic support,
- Running in person and virtual dental health assessments, Supporting owners with advice and guidance via Watsapp, email, walk ins and inbound calls, Improving preventative dental care habits through The Luna Dental Health Club,
- Ad hoc opportunities to support at events and Luna community run activities. Requirements You need to be ready to embrace a revolutionary approach to veterinary care, supported with AI, tech and a client first mindset, You should thrive on variety and the ability to work across multiple tasks,
- A brilliant team player with great communication skils and initiative, GA monitoring experience, Nurse consult experience, An active interest in dog and cat dentals, A desire to join a different type of nursing role, that's calm, organised, sustainable and gives you the opportunity to build your career as you want. This role offers the opportunity to join a brand new practice and truly focus on or learn a dental clinical pathway with the opportunity to work on advanced procedures and with certificate holder vets.
