Location: Wentworth Headquarters, Surrey, UK (with regular travel to Ireland)
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract to December 2027
Reports to: Senior Operations Manager

The European Tour group is one of the world’s pre-eminent golf organisations. We are responsible for running the world-famous DP World Tour, Staysure Legends Tour & HotelPlanner Tour. We also organise, alongside the PGA of America, golf’s greatest team contest - the Ryder Cup.

A global spectacle watched by millions, the Ryder Cup brings together the best golfers from Europe and the United States in one of sport's most iconic team competitions. Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of professionals work year-round to create an unforgettable experience for players, partners, spectators, volunteers and broadcasters.
As preparations continue for The Ryder Cup 2027 at Adare Manor, Ireland, we're looking to recruit three Ryder Cup Operations Executives to join our expanding Operations team. These roles can either be based in the UK or Ireland.
These roles offer a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience delivering one of the world's largest and most prestigious sporting events. Working across a variety of operational areas, you'll play a crucial part in the planning, coordination and delivery of key services that underpin the successful running of the Ryder Cup.
Whether your background is in events, project management, venue operations, logistics or hospitality, this is an opportunity to make your mark on a truly global stage.
About The Roles
As a Ryder Cup Operations Executive, you'll support the Operations team across a broad range of event planning and delivery activities.
Working closely with Ryder Cup Operations Managers, suppliers, contractors, venue stakeholders and internal departments, you'll help ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the exceptional standards expected of the Ryder Cup.

These positions offer exposure to every phase of event delivery—from early planning and procurement through to venue build, live operations and post-event decommissioning.
What You'll Be Doing
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Ryder Cup Operations Managers in the planning and delivery of operational projects.
- Assisting with research, procurement activities, tender processes and supplier evaluations.
- Preparing and maintaining project plans, schedules, trackers, budgets and operational documentation.
- Supporting the development and coordination of the overall venue build and delivery programme.
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors, venue representatives and internal stakeholders to support operational readiness.
- Coordinating meetings, workshops, planning sessions and site visits.
- Monitoring project progress against agreed milestones and escalating issues where required.
- Supporting financial administration processes, including purchase orders, budget tracking and invoice validation.
- Providing on-site operational support during venue build, event delivery and decommissioning phases.
- Supporting contractor management and the implementation of venue operational plans.
- Assisting with post-event reporting, operational reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Developing strong working relationships with stakeholders across all areas of the business.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Excellent organisation and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Confidence managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
- Strong numeracy and commercial awareness.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Positive, flexible and collaborative team-player.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience within event operations, venue operations, project management, hospitality or sport.
- Experience supporting major sporting events, festivals, exhibitions or live events.
- Knowledge of project management principles and operational planning processes.
- Understanding of health and safety requirements within event environments.
- Degree-level qualification in Sport Management, Events Management, Hospitality, Business or a related discipline.
