Lancashire Constabulary Driver Training Staff Member

Lancashire Constabulary is seeking a motivated and professional Driver Training Staff Member to support the delivery of high-quality driver training to police officers and staff across the force.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering training against the standards and competencies highlighted within the NPCC/College of Policing Driver Training Learning Programme
  • To work in partnership with other parties and agencies.
  • To evaluate all course material in design and delivery.
  • To carry out any other duties which are consistent with the nature, responsibilities and grading of the post.

Skills and Experience

  • Current or recent evidence of a police advanced driving permit
  • Police Driving Instructors Qualification
  • DVSA Approved Driving Instructor or willing to work towards and complete within 12 months of starting in post
  • Level 3 Assessing in the workplace qualification or equivalent
  • Trainer Essentials Programme qualification or equivalent

Please be aware, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass Recruitment Vetting (RV).
