Are you a compassionate and motivated nurse looking to develop your career in oncology and haematology?
This post is suitable for a Band 5 who is not SACT trained or a currently SACT chemotherapy nurse Band 6 with a period of training.
Join our dedicated team at Oncology and Haematology Day Unit, based at St Margaret's Hospice Yeovil where we deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals affected by cancer across Somerset. We are a nurse led unit with excellent patient feedback, providing specialist care to patients undergoing systemic anti-cancer treatments (SACT).

The Unit has 12 treatment chairs, a phlebotomy/PICC clinic and outpatient clinic rooms. We operate Monday to Friday including bank holidays and offer clinical supervision and professional development. If you have the skills and experience, we are looking for, come and be part of our committed team delivering exceptional patient care.
SACT/Chemotherapy experience is not necessary and these skills can be taught, you will be supported to complete the UKONS SACT passport, and will be expected in time to undertake an accredited SACT module as part of this role.
