Charles Dickens is 16 Chair Treatment Unit
Delivering SACT and supportive treatments to patients with Oncological Cancers.
About the Role
Applicants should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and proactive. The post holder will work as part of the nursing team in supporting the ward manager to run an effective and safe ward. Charles Dickens treats patients throughout their treatment pathway providing individualized, compassionate, and informed care.
Successful applicants should be prepared to support the transition to a 6-day service if future demands necessitate.
Key Responsibilities
- Combine autonomy with team working sensitivity and professionalism.
- Adopt a holistic, proactive, and dynamic approach, being responsible for the delivery of a high standard of care and service to the patients.
- In association with colleagues, support patients and their carers on all aspects of their care, whether newly diagnosed or being treated with palliative intent.
- Be SACT Competent to apply for this post.
