Are you looking to broaden your experience, develop new skills and gain valuable insight into the Community Safety sector? We have an exciting 6-month secondment opportunity within our Safe Communities Team.

This role offers a fantastic chance to work alongside an experienced Safe Communities Team supporting customers affected by anti-social behaviour (ASB), domestic abuse and safeguarding concerns, while building your knowledge of the ASB and housing sector.

Whether you're looking to enhance your current skills or gain some experience in a specialist service area, this secondment will provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced, rewarding environment where you'll make a real difference to customers and communities.

The Role

As a Safe Communities Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in helping customers feel safer in their homes. Working as part of the Safe Communities Team, you'll support the delivery of services relating to anti-social behaviour (ASB), domestic abuse and safeguarding, ensuring work is carried out in line with policy, procedure and service standards.

Acting as a first point of contact, you'll provide a victim-focused and empathetic response, triaging new reports and, where appropriate, resolving concerns quickly and effectively at first contact. Safeguarding and customer wellbeing will remain central to everything you do.

Location: Based at any Bromford Flagship LiveWest (East) office – Norwich, Dereham, Bury St Edmunds or Melton.

Please note that regular travel to other offices will be required for team meetings, collaboration days and joint-working opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Acting as a first point of contact for customers reporting ASB.
  • Managing and triaging new reports, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
  • Setting up new cases and supporting case handlers with initial case management, including action plans and contact plans.
  • Resolving ASB reports at first contact where appropriate, working with both victims and alleged perpetrators.
  • Supporting officers with ongoing case management activities.
  • Completing DASH risk assessments and accurately recording incidents.
  • Providing additional victim support and customer care where required.
  • Identifying, reporting and following up safeguarding concerns promptly.
  • Supporting managers with meetings, note-taking and project work.
  • Coordinating and tracking actions to support workload management and service delivery.
  • Working collaboratively with Coordinators and colleagues across different offices and business areas.
  • Occasionally attending community engagement events and partnership activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
