Are you an experienced safeguarding professional passionate about creating safer environments and driving positive change? We're looking for a Safeguarding Consultant to join our team and play a key role in conducting robust safeguarding investigations, supporting operational teams, and embedding a strong safeguarding culture across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex safeguarding investigations.
- Provide expert safeguarding advice and support to managers and DSLs.
- Liaise with external agencies including Police, LADO, and Local Authorities.
- Deliver safeguarding training, webinars, and learning initiatives.
- Conduct safeguarding audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyse safeguarding, quality, and regulatory data to support decision-making.
- Attend and contribute to multi-agency safeguarding meetings.
- Promote organisational learning and best practice across the business.

About You
Relevant Education and qualifications for this opportunity
- Background in safeguarding, social work, policing, education, care, or a related field.
- Extensive safeguarding experience with strong knowledge of legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience conducting safeguarding investigations.
- Strong decision-making, influencing, and communication skills.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and external agencies.
- Experience delivering training and coaching others is desirable.
