Safeguarding Children's Partnership Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity to join Wokingham's brand new Safeguarding Children's Partnership as a Safeguarding Children's Partnership Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you will support the delivery of the Partnership's priorities, helping to ensure that agencies across Wokingham work together effectively to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.

Working in a collaborative and dynamic environment, you will engage with schools, early years settings, voluntary and community organisations, statutory partners and a wide range of stakeholders. You'll play a key role in quality assurance activity, multi-agency audits, business planning, partnership engagement and safeguarding awareness initiatives, helping to make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and families across the borough.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of multi-agency safeguarding work who enjoys coordinating projects, analysing information and building productive professional relationships.

About The Role

  • Support the delivery of the Safeguarding Children's Partnership business plan and strategic priorities.
  • Build effective relationships with schools, colleges, early years providers and community organisations.
  • Work closely with safeguarding partners including the local authority, health, police, probation, fire and voluntary sector organisations.
  • Coordinate and support partnership sub-groups, task and finish groups, audits and quality assurance activities.
  • Analyse and report on safeguarding performance information and partnership activity.
  • Promote safeguarding awareness through meetings, presentations and engagement events.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
