Safeguarding Trustee – Eco & Youth Charity (Chipping Norton)
We’re seeking a new Safeguarding Trustee with expert policy experience to guide our grassroots eco and youth charity through a vital simplification of our services, ensuring the protection of young and vulnerable individuals in and around Chipping Norton.

What Are We Looking For?
We’re seeking a compassionate, approachable professional with ideally 3+ years of experience in:
- Safeguarding
- Social care
- Youth work
Essential qualities: ✔ The ability to translate complex safeguarding legislation into clear, practical guidance for our volunteers. ✔ Policy review experience. ✔ Ideally residing within 15 miles of Chipping Norton. ✔ A deep understanding of rural community dynamics. ✔ Shared passion for building a greener local environment.

Role Summary
We are a Board of 5, expanding our Trustee team, and our current Safeguarding Trustee is stepping down after 4 successful years.
As Safeguarding Trustee, you will:
- Serve as the primary lead for safety.
- Review policies and advise volunteers in grassroots youth and eco projects.
- Shape our culture of safety from the outset, ensuring initiatives safely flourish.
