Safer Communities Officer (Anti-Social Behaviour)
Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Safer Communities Officer (Anti-Social Behaviour)—we're looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join our Community Safety Team
About the Role
This is an exciting permanent opportunity for someone who wants to make a tangible difference for Karbon Homes customers and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high-quality, customer-focused service to victims and perpetrators of anti-social behaviour across Karbon Homes stock
- Take a pro-active approach to prevent and tackle anti-social behaviour (ASB)
- Manage a caseload of ASB cases, maintaining detailed case notes and ensuring investigations comply with legal and non-legal remedies
- Collaborate with team members and legal advisors to prepare and support officers in:
- Producing documentation, reports, notices of intention to seek possession, and other legal notices
- Supporting prosecution efforts in tight deadlines
- Attending court on behalf of the organisation as required
- Develop strong working relationships with external partners in multi-agency forums
- Make support referrals to relevant agencies for both victims and perpetrators

Flexibility and Mobility:
- Essential to work across all office locations and Karbon stock
- Occasional work outside normal hours
- Full UK driving licence required, with access to/driving a company vehicle
About You
We need someone who is:

- Interpersonally gifted, with outstanding communication and teamwork skills
- Possesses excellent organisational and ICT abilities

Key Details
- Location: Stanley or Gosforth (with daily travel between Karbon properties)
- Hours: 37 hours/week (with flexible homeworking options)
- Salary: £37,363 per annum plus £2,405 Karbon car payment
- Closing date: Sunday 19 July 2026 (early closing possible if volumes are high)
