Salary & Benefits
- £30,595–£37,980 (dependent on experience)

The Role: Health and Safety & Emergency Planning Team Lead
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in maintaining, updating, and auditing emergency planning policies and procedures across our hospitals in Essex and Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities

Policy & Compliance:
- Oversee and ensure compliance with:
- Relevant legislation
- NHS England (NHSE) guidance
- National Occupational Standards
- Health and safety standards, codes of practice
- Charity policies and regulations
- Implement and monitor best practices across emergency planning
- Oversee and ensure compliance with:

Business Continuity & Risk Management:
- Collaborate with operations teams to develop and execute business continuity systems and plans
- Conduct business impact analyses
- Develop, assess, and test business continuity and emergency response strategies
- Identify and mitigate resilience risks to critical business operations

Stakeholder Support & Training:
- Provide mandatory and optional training to staff on:
- Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR)
- Business continuity
- Relevant health & safety protocols
- Work closely with the Health & Safety Manager and Hospital Directors

Requirements & Qualities
Expertise & Experience
You will bring:
- Strong knowledge of operational processes and procedures in environments such as:
- Clinical services
- Health and safety
- Facilities and estates
- Project management experience desirable
- Understanding and knowledge of:
- Risk, control frameworks
- Resilience methodologies
