Are you a Safety Equipment Specialist with an RAF Safety Equipment qualification or similar looking for a part-time role on an MoD Military Site. Do you want a role that is both rewarding as well as offers great long term career prospects in a business who truly value its employees?

On offer is the exciting opportunity for a Safety Equipment Supervisor to join a leading global UK Defence and Engineering business. Founded around 150 years ago, this organisation has built up a solid reputation internationally as a defence and engineering powerhouse, working closely with the UK MoD on a number of their top tier UK Defence Contracts.

In this role, the successful Safety Equipment Specialist would play a key role in ensuring all activities are conducted at the highest safety standards, safeguarding every flight and proactively addressing potential issues and report directly to the Site Operations Manager.

The Role:

  • Report to the Site Operations Manager (SOM) and lead the team in delivering scheduled maintenance, repairs, and fitting of RAF and company-owned Survival Equipment and Aircrew Assemblies, along with all related tasks.
  • Act as the lead for Survival Equipment investigations, support ground movement of aircraft and flight line operations when required, mentor new starters, and ensure all Survival Equipment is issued and fitted to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including RAF personnel and employees, to maintain high standards of service and compliance.

The Person:

  • Completion of RAF Safety Equipment Course
  • AV-MED certification or equivalent training.
  • Want a part-time role.
