About the Role
At Babcock, we strive to create a safer world—together. As a Survival Equipment Supervisor at our Leuchars Station, Fife, you’ll fulfil a unique role ensuring that all activities operate at the highest safety standards, protecting each flight and staying ahead of potential risks.
This part-time position (20 hours per week) is based on site at Leuchars Station, Fife.
Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Site Operations Manager (SOM) and lead a team delivering:
- Scheduled maintenance, repairs, and fittings of RAF and company-owned Survival Equipment and Aircrew Assemblies (along with all related tasks).
- Survival Equipment investigations.
- Provide technical support for aircraft ground movement and flight line operations when required.
- Mentor new starters and ensure compliance with customer requirements on Survival Equipment issue and fitting.
- Collaborate effectively with RAF personnel and Babcock colleagues to maintain high standards of service and compliance.

Requirements
Essential Experience:
- Experience in a similar role (not necessarily supervisory).
- Mentoring experience (in any capacity, beyond a workplace).

Qualifications
- Completion of the RAF Safety Equipment Course.
- AV-MED certification or equivalent training.

Security Clearance
- Must be eligible to achieve and maintain a Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) security clearance.
