Safety Instructor / Trainer (Teesside)

Safety Instructor – Permanent Roles

About the Role

Applicants must already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

We at 3t are seeking qualified Safety Instructors for permanent contracts across two locations:

  • North Shields, Tyne & Wear
  • Teesside, Middlesbrough, England

The role offers a 40-hour workweek (standard working hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday) and delivers courses in our approved training suites, adhering to 3t’s core values of Innovation, Collaboration, and Excellence.


Key Qualifications

We particularly welcome candidates who meet one or more of the following:

  • Hold a Train the Trainer or Assessor qualification
  • Have experience within the renewables sector (e.g., wind, offshore, or related industries)
  • Possess survival training experience (e.g., offshore or emergency response)
  • Have worked in industrial training within a safety-critical environment

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver approved courses in line with 3t and regulatory standards
  • Provide technical leadership and expert advice on specialised subjects
  • Facilitate seamless communication with learners and customers
  • Obtain positive feedback to align with KPIs
  • Participate in training standardisation and continuous professional development
  • Offer technical and coaching support to junior staff
  • Enhance new course development while improving existing modules
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and commitment to HSE policies
  • Ensure full compliance with 3t’s quality and operational procedures
