About the Role
[Safety & Risk Management Advisor]
The Role Are you ready to bring your integrity, professionalism and diligence to a key role within [GAP Group's] Safety & Risk department?
At GAP Hire Solutions, we are looking for a [Safety & Risk Management Advisor] who is experienced in safety/liability investigations and related report writing. The postholder will support the SHE Manager in the efficient reporting, administration, and analysis of all safety (liability) related incidents. This will include:
- Coordinating the immediate response
- Gathering evidence
- Conducting root cause analysis
- Oversight of corrective actions
Based in our Glasgow Head Office, the postholder will be required to visit depots throughout the UK.
What You'll be Doing
- Responsibility for own caseload, delivering timely and effective investigations and reports autonomously
- Preparation of investigation reports, identifying root causes and contributory factors, and recommending actions to guide sustainable risk reduction measures
- Support for the continuous improvement of safe working environments
- Ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed of investigation progress

About You
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in safety investigations and/or liability claims handling
- A recognised safety qualification ([NEBOSH], [IOSH], or [NVQ/SVQ])
- Excellent knowledge of accident investigation methods and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in MS Office
- A full UK driving licence
- The ability to work away from home on a regular basis
