Safety Team Member
Make a difference, night after night
Location: London City
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 34 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: 4 night shifts out of 7 (22:00 - 07:00)
Salary & Benefits: £28,680 + bonus + comprehensive benefits package
As a Student Safety Team Member, you’ll be a vital part of keeping our students and buildings safe, comfortable, and welcoming during overnight hours. Your role will bring reassurance, care, and professionalism—whether patrolling safety routes, handling Excel handovers, responding to student needs, or managing emergencies.

Your Impact
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first friendly point of contact for students requiring overnight support, reassurance, or guidance.
- Maintain safety by responding calmly to incidents—such as fire alarms, noise complaints, security breaches, or maintenance issues.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment, ensuring every student feels valued and cared for.
- Collaborate seamlessly with both day and night shifts to ensure smooth service continuity through effective handovers.
- Keep our spaces clean, orderly, and well-managed.
- Engage proactively with students’ wellbeing or welfare problems, intervening where necessary.
- Champion our CARE values (Connect, Act, Respect, Encourage) in every interaction.

Preferred (but not mandatory):
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or a residential/frontline role.

Salary & Performance Bonus
- Base salary of £28,680
- Performance-related bonuses (twice yearly)
