Job Overview

Are you passionate about creating a safe and compliant workplace? We are seeking a Safety Training Administrator for a fixed term contract to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality health and safety training across the organization.

The Safety Training Administrator will support the delivery of education, learning and development at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, including statutory and mandatory training provision. The post will be integral to the Safety Team and the Learning and Education team and will play a key administrative role in ensuring that all staff members receive the training and education they need to do their jobs safely and effectively in line with the Trust’s values and statutory and mandatory requirements.

Please note: This vacancy does not meet the criteria for Skilled Worker sponsorship, unless you meet the criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. “Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024."

Main Duties And Responsibilities

Training Coordination and Service Delivery

  • End-to-end coordination of safety training programmes, including scheduling, resource allocation, trainer coordination, and venue planning.
  • Proactively plan training schedules using workforce data, demand analysis, and compliance trends.
  • Identify gaps in training provision and propose solutions to optimise capacity and uptake.
  • Act as the first point of contact for complex training queries, resolving issues independently where possible.

Data Analysis, Reporting and Continuous Quality Improvement

  • Analyse training data (e.g. compliance rates, attendance trends, cancellations, evaluation feedback) to: Identify risks and gaps, Support service improvement.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards for senior staff.
  • Interpret data and contribute to recommendations to improve training compliance and efficiency. Support audit activity and contribute to performance monitoring (KPIs).

Learning Development Zone (LDZ) Responsibility

  • Take operational responsibility for the effective use of the LDZ Safety training.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and quality of data within the system.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and advise staff and trainers on system use.
  • Support the development of user guides and promote best practice in system use.

  • GCSEs in Maths and English
  • NVQ level 3 Business Administration or equivalent
  • Experience of working in an administrative role in an education setting
