Our Head Office is based in Stockton-on-Tees and is home to our administrative support teams, engineering & maintenance support team & energy services teams. The Offices are located on the river Tees with close access to walks, shops and restaurants.
The Opportunity We are now recruiting for a Safety & Wellbeing Advisor. In this role you will foster and advocate for positive safety practices and behaviors, while offering supportive and constructive feedback.
You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.

Key Responsibilities Collaborate effectively and positively with all px employees, customers, contractors, and visitors, in alignment with the px Zero Harm Charter, to foster a positive safety culture and awareness. Provide relevant and accurate Safety and Wellbeing advice, information, and guidance to both px and contract personnel. Undertake accurate internal & external audits, assessments and inspections particularly related to Life Saving Rules and occupational safety, communicating and closing out action points to completion. Visit multiple sites within the px portfolio to conduct safety tours, attend meetings, provide support, carry out investigations, and offer outage support as needed. Review external audit and inspection reports, communicating and ensuring closeout of action points. As required, to best represent px’s interests and support external auditors and inspectors. Undertake investigations into accidents and incidents, preparing accurate and timely reports and ensuring appropriate communication and close out of recommendations. Minimum Requirements NEBOSH General Certificate Experience in a high-hazard industrial industry such as energy, oil & gas, or hydrocarbon processing. Exposure and awareness of permit to work and lock out tag out systems. Strong experience working as a health and safety advisor/ officer/ consultant in a high-hazard setting. Experience in successfully working in and contributing to a workplace team environment.
