Company: Vallestra Ltd
Employment type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About Vallestra

Vallestra is a specialist Sage X3 consultancy and Sage Business Partner, established in 2017. We work exclusively with Sage X3 and provide consulting, implementation, support, migration, reporting, upgrade, and continuous improvement services.

Our team combines extensive Sage X3 expertise with a strong understanding of finance, distribution, purchasing, sales, inventory, and business operations. We support customers across the UK and internationally, helping them simplify processes, improve visibility, and gain greater value from their ERP investment.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Sage X3 Finance and Distribution Consultant to join our growing team. You will work closely with customers to understand their financial and operational requirements, design effective Sage X3 solutions, configure the system, support implementations, and help users improve control, reporting, and efficiency.

This is a varied, customer-facing role covering the full ERP lifecycle, from discovery and solution design through to implementation, training, go-live, support, and ongoing optimisation.

The role is fully remote, with travel to customer sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support Sage X3 requirements-gathering and process discovery workshops.
  • Analyse customer finance and distribution processes.
  • Translate business requirements into practical Sage X3 solutions.
  • Configure Sage X3 financial and distribution modules.
  • Support implementations, upgrades, migrations, and system improvement projects.
  • Produce solution designs, process documentation, test scripts, and training materials.
  • Support data migration, system testing, user acceptance testing, and go-live activities.
  • Deliver training to key users and wider customer teams.
  • Investigate and resolve functional issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial control, reporting, stock visibility, order processing, and automation.
  • Work closely with technical consultants, developers, project managers, and customer stakeholders.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with customers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
