Sage X3 Implementation Consultant Fully remote £60,000 - £80,000
An established UK-based ERP solutions provider is seeking an experienced Sage X3 professional to join its growing team during a period of expansion and innovation. The organisation specialises in delivering enterprise solutions across Sage X3, Sage Intacct, and proprietary cloud-based automation tools, with a strong focus on emerging technologies such as Sage Cloud and AI-enabled systems.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, business-critical projects, take ownership of implementations, and contribute to the evolution of delivery practices. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting clients through the full implementation lifecycle while helping shape best practices and future strategy.
Key Responsibilities Engage with customers to gather and analyse business requirements and deliver tailored ERP solutions. Configure and optimise Sage X3 modules to align with operational needs and project goals. Collaborate with technical teams to deliver integrations, customisations, and enhancements. Lead testing, data migration validation, and deployment activities to ensure successful project outcomes. Act as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle, resolving issues and providing strategic guidance. Deliver end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to support effective adoption. Provide post-implementation support, system optimisation, and ongoing consultancy. Contribute to the continuous improvement of methodologies, tools, and best practices. Stay up to date with Sage X3 developments, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

Person Specification Demonstrated experience implementing and configuring Sage X3, ideally within distribution or similar environments. Strong understanding of business processes, ERP solution design, and system integrations. Experience delivering ERP or software projects using structured methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Customer-focused approach, with a proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships. Experience delivering user training and supporting organisational change and system adoption. Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and professional development. Relevant ERP certifications and/or a degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field are beneficial.
