Salaried General Practitioner – GP/Part-Time Opportunities

About the Role

We are seeking full-time or part-time Salaried GPs to join our multidisciplinary team at Deptford Surgery. You’ll provide high-quality, patient-centred care while supported by an exceptional workforce, including nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, mental health specialists, and clinical administrators.

This role offers:

  • Minimal on-call duties and fewer home visits
  • Reduced minor-illness appointments and lower repeat-prescription workload
  • Dedicated support from Lead GPs and Group Clinical Leads
  • Streamlined clinical workflows (EMIS, T-Quest, Pathlinks) for efficient consultations
  • Protected learning time, wellbeing activities (e.g., workshops, social events), and dedicated development opportunities, including the chance to become a GP trainer or take on leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including multidisciplinary clinicians.
  • Take advantage of reduced administrative workload through back-office support and streamlined processes.
  • Benefit from fewer on-call requirements, less home visiting, and lower repeat-prescription demand.
  • Work alongside senior regional leads committed to your professional development.
  • Participate in monthly protected learning sessions, clinical meetings, and best-practice sharing.
  • Upskill in digital clinical tools (EMIS, T-Quest, Pathlinks) to ensure efficient and effective consultations.

Requirements

  • GMC registration with an active licence to practise.
  • Strong understanding of primary care clinical practice and adherence to GMC standards.
  • Proven ability to use EMIS and other digital clinical systems.
  • A collaborative disposition, valuing teamwork and continuing professional development.
  • Authentic desire to thrive in a practice that invests in wellbeing through social, educational, and workload-reducing initiatives.
