Salaried GP | Bicester

Background

Two Salaried GP roles have opened up at a well-established training practice in Bicester, offering a rare opportunity to join a genuinely close-knit team with one of the strongest staff retention records in the area. For a GP looking to develop into a trainer role themselves, there is a real, practice-supported pathway after the departure of the previous trainer.

Location

  • The practice is based in Bicester, Oxfordshire, within easy commuting distance of:
    • Oxford (~30 minutes by car)
    • Banbury and Buckingham
  • The area has grown recently with a strong pool of GPs in commuting distance and good road links.

The Practice

  • Long-established GP training practice
  • Friendship and team cohesion is prioritised with exceptional staff retention
  • Structured working days featuring dedicated admin time built around clinics
  • Light on-call burden with a duty doctor performing pure triage (roughly once every fortnight)
  • Mid-sized practice supported by a multidisciplinary team including:
    • Advanced nurse practitioners
    • Paramedics
    • Pharmacist support
  • CQC rating: Good

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
