Salaried GP | Near Northampton, Northamptonshire

Background

A well-organised, high-performing practice with a genuine commitment to clinical quality and a workload model built around what GPs actually need: 15-minute appointments, a cap of 25 patients per day, and a dedicated admin team that keeps unnecessary tasks away from doctors. This is a role where the infrastructure has been thoughtfully designed, not left to chance.

The practice has a long-established training and education culture, hosting GP registrars and medical students as part of a programme that extends well beyond a token placement. For the right candidate, this is somewhere that takes professional development seriously and has the systems to back it up.

Location

The practice is located in West Northamptonshire, within easy reach of Northampton (approximately 25 minutes), Rugby (approximately 25 minutes) and Coventry (approximately 35 minutes), with good road links and a mix of urban and rural surroundings.

The Practice

  • GP Training and Teaching Practice, hosting registrars and medical students
  • Consistently 100% QOF achievement over the last three consecutive years
  • Purpose-built premises adjoining a community hospital, with on-site diagnostics, attached pharmacy and free parking
  • Mid-sized practice serving a varied patient demographic across urban and rural communities
  • Strong partnership team alongside a large salaried GP team
  • Broad MDT including ANPs, a Paramedic and Clinical Pharmacists, reducing GP admin burden
  • Dedicated coding and secretarial teams: GPs do not handle referral administration directly
  • Tier 2 Visa sponsorship available
  • CQC rated Good overall, with Outstanding for Well-Led

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
