Salaried General Practitioner (GP) | Croydon, South London
Background
This is a genuinely independent, patient-centred practice that has chosen to stay small enough to do things properly. The partnership has deliberately avoided the super-partnership model, ensuring a working environment built around clinical relationships, not throughput targets.
As a salaried GP, you’ll be given project ownership within the practice, with the opportunity to:
- Develop areas of special interest
- Share in the income generated from these projects
If you’re looking for a role where you’re treated as a valued clinician, rather than just a session-filler, this opportunity deserves closer attention.
Location
The practice is based in Croydon, South London, offering:
- 10-minute commute to central London
- Well-connected by public transport
- Ideal connections from across South London, including:
- Bromley (~15 minutes)
- Sutton (~15 minutes)
- Wimbledon (~20 minutes)
The Practice
🔹 GP Training Practice – Partnership members act as trainers for:
- Medical students
- FY2 doctors
- ST doctors
- International medical graduates retraining in the UK
🔹 Mid-sized practice with:
- A strong partnership team
- A large salaried GP team
🔹 Exceptionally well-resourced multidisciplinary team, comprising:
- Two Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs)
- Two clinical pharmacists (one working towards independent prescribing)
- Two care coordinators
- Two GP assistants
- Three nurses

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
